PRELIMINARY VISIT

Suggested date and time for the band manager to visit the venue before the event to check band access, parking, “footprint” of the band inside the venue (including any stage and access to power) and security of the venue to protect valuable band equipment

ON THE DAY

Time on the date of the event for the band to get access to set up the equipment and sound check - please note that at least 3 hours before the arrival of the first guests is preferred. Shorter set up times can be arranged by negotiation

Time that the band is expected to start playing

Number of sets required (usually 2 sets of 45 - 60 minutes each, with a 20 minute interval between)

Expected finish time for the band

Closing time for the venue (please note, removal of band equipment usually requires at least 1 hour)

Anticipated size and composition of the audience (including if children are going to be present)

PAYMENT

Payment amount

The hire price for the band is negotiable in discussion with the manager. As a guideline, commercial bands of similar size and quality usually cost over £1,000, but please call Tauny on 07765 221811 to discuss. Note that all of the funds raised by the band are donated directly to The Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity via the “Donate” button at the top right of the webpage. A deposit of 20% is required to confirm the booking, with the remainder to be paid as soon as possible after the event.
